How LeadEX works

The exchange engine, end to end.

One platform connecting three sides of the home services market: consumers who call or text LeadEX-operated service numbers, independent service providers who perform the work, and affiliate traffic partners who point consumers to LeadEX. LeadEX-operated representatives run intake, scheduling, and dispatch in the middle. LeadEX does not necessarily perform the home-service work itself.

01
Consumer

Consumer initiates contact

Consumers seeking home services voluntarily call or text phone numbers displayed through LeadEX-operated service websites, advertisements, listings, or marketing channels.

  • Consumer-initiated contact only
  • No purchased consumer phone lists
  • No transferred SMS consent from third parties
02
LeadEX

LeadEX handles the service request

LeadEX customer service representatives answer inbound communications, gather project details, qualify the service request, may request relevant information or photos, and assist with scheduling. If the consumer called and we want to follow up by SMS, our representative first requests verbal permission.

  • Live customer service representatives
  • Verbal SMS consent captured before texting
  • Scheduling and status updates handled centrally
03
Matching

Service request is matched

LeadEX may connect or route the service request to an independent service provider that may be available to perform the requested service. LeadEX does not guarantee that a service provider will be available for every request.

  • Routed to one independent service provider at a time
  • No auctions and no bidding
  • Availability not guaranteed
04
Independent provider

Independent provider performs the work

The independent service provider communicates with the consumer regarding the project and is responsible for performing the work and confirming final scope, pricing, warranties, licensing, insurance, and applicable service terms. LeadEX does not perform the home-service work.

  • Provider owns scope, pricing, and warranties
  • Provider is responsible for licensing and insurance
  • Consumer should independently evaluate the provider
05
Tracking

Completed job is tracked

LeadEX tracks service outcomes for operational purposes and may receive compensation based on successfully completed jobs. Affiliates who introduced the consumer may be compensated according to their affiliate agreements and tracked outcomes.

  • Outcome tracking for operations and quality
  • Compensation tied to completed jobs
  • Affiliate settlement per affiliate agreement
Who does what

Clear roles. No overlap. No leakage.

Affiliate (traffic partner)

Points consumers to LeadEX-operated service numbers through their channels. Does not receive or transfer SMS consent, and does not supply consumer phone lists.

LeadEX

Answers inbound calls and texts, gathers project information, requests photos with consent, coordinates scheduling, and dispatches the request. Does not necessarily perform the home-service work itself.

Independent service provider

Performs the trade work. Owns workmanship, pricing, licensing, insurance, warranties, and the customer relationship.
