Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

LEADEX ("LeadEX", "we", "us", "our") is a marketing, technology, customer communication, service coordination, and dispatch platform serving the home-service industry. LeadEX operates consumer-facing phone numbers and communication channels used for home-service requests. LeadEX does not necessarily perform the home-service work; independent service providers perform the requested work.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the LeadEX website, LeadEX-operated service phone numbers, LeadEX SMS/messaging communications, and related services (together, the "Services").

2. Information you provide

  • Contact information: name, phone number, email address, service address or general service location.
  • Service-request information: description of the home-service issue, urgency, access instructions, scheduling preferences, and other project details you share with us.
  • Photos and files you voluntarily send by SMS, email, or other channels to help us understand the project.
  • SMS communications: the content of text messages you send to LeadEX-operated numbers, and your opt-in and opt-out records.
  • Applications and inquiries submitted through our contact forms (for consumers, service providers, or affiliates).

3. Information collected when you call or text LeadEX

  • Call metadata: the caller's phone number, the LeadEX-operated number dialed, call date/time, duration, and routing information.
  • Call recordings: some inbound and outbound calls with LeadEX customer service representatives may be recorded for quality assurance, training, service coordination, and dispute resolution. Where required by law, callers are notified at the start of the call.
  • SMS metadata: the sending and receiving numbers, timestamps, and delivery status of text messages exchanged with LeadEX.
  • Verbal SMS consent records: when a customer service representative asks a consumer for verbal permission to continue a service-request conversation by text, we record the disclosure used, the date and time, the CSR who obtained it, and the associated call.

4. Device, website, and marketing information

  • Device and usage information: pages viewed, referring URL, IP address, browser, device type, and general location derived from IP.
  • Cookies and analytics: we and our analytics providers use cookies and similar technologies to understand site usage and improve the Services.
  • Advertising attribution: campaign, click, and referral identifiers that help us attribute a call or service request to a marketing channel or affiliate.
  • Information from affiliates and marketing channels: attribution identifiers and referral metadata generated when a consumer clicks or calls through an affiliate-operated marketing channel. LeadEX does not purchase lists of consumer phone numbers, and does not accept affiliate-supplied consumer phone lists for unsolicited SMS campaigns.
  • Information about service providers and business partners: contact details, service area, licensing representations, insurance representations, tax information, and payment details necessary for the business relationship.

5. How we use information

  • Respond to consumer inquiries and customer support requests.
  • Qualify, coordinate, schedule, and provide updates on consumer-initiated service requests.
  • Match consumers with independent service providers that may be available to perform the requested service.
  • Send SMS communications directly related to a consumer's service request (see the SMS Terms & Conditions).
  • Operate, secure, monitor, and improve the Services.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms.
  • Perform analytics, reporting, and attribution.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

6. Mobile information & SMS opt-in data — strict protections

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except vendors and service providers that support the delivery and operation of the messaging program and are contractually restricted from using such information for their own marketing purposes, or as otherwise required by law.

This restriction applies to phone numbers, SMS opt-in records, verbal consent records, and any consent metadata associated with the LeadEX messaging program.

7. Service-request information shared with independent service providers

Separately from the SMS-consent protections above, and only when reasonably necessary to respond to, coordinate, schedule, estimate, or fulfill a service explicitly requested by the consumer, LeadEX may share service-request information with an independent service provider. Such information may include:

  • The consumer's name.
  • The service address or general service location.
  • The consumer's phone number, when necessary for service coordination.
  • Project description and scheduling information.
  • Project photos or files voluntarily provided by the consumer.

Independent service providers receiving service-request information are not authorized to use LeadEX SMS opt-in consent to send unrelated marketing or promotional text messages.

8. Other sharing

  • Service providers/subprocessors that support the Services (hosting, telephony and SMS delivery such as Twilio Inc., email delivery, analytics, fraud prevention, payment processing) — bound to confidentiality and use limitations.
  • Affiliate reporting: aggregated or attribution-level data about calls and outcomes may be shared with the referring affiliate. This does not include SMS opt-in/consent data or mobile-marketing lists.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of LeadEX, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell personal information and we do not sell consumer leads.

9. Data retention

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. SMS consent and opt-out records are retained for the period required to demonstrate compliance with applicable messaging rules, even if the associated lead or service request is later archived.

10. Your choices & rights

  • SMS opt-out: reply STOP to any LeadEX text message to opt out. See the SMS Terms.
  • Email: use unsubscribe links or contact us to stop non-transactional emails.
  • Access, correction, deletion, and portability: depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email info@leadexservice.com.
  • Do Not Sell/Share: LeadEX does not sell personal information, and does not share mobile information or SMS opt-in data for third-party marketing.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
